What to expect
The Pune International Marathon is one of the older city marathons in India and a big date for runners in Pune. It is a home race for us, which takes most of the logistics stress away.
Expect an early start, warm conditions once the sun is up and a lot of familiar faces along the way.
Course notes
Routes change between editions. We will add notes on the course once we have checked the current route map on the official site. Until then, plan as if the second half will be warmer than the first, because in Pune it usually is.
Who it suits
Runners who have built up properly for the distance they enter. If this is your first marathon, treat the half as a stepping stone first unless you have a full training block behind you.

No hotel needed. Sleep early, lay your kit out the night before and keep your bib, pins and shoes in one bag by the door.
